At Baan Gerda Children Foundation in Bangkok, HIV-affected persons who were taking antiretroviral drugs and suffering from opportunistic infections were given four LIV capsules a day for one year. There was an amazing improvement in the health of the patients and all opportunistic infections such as viral infection, tuberculosis and pneumonia were gone. Their CD4 count increased by an average of 67.34% without side effects. APCO has since donated a life-time supply of LIV capsules to the 70 HIV-infected children at the Baan Gerda Children Foundation.
